Stateless Mind #4

We travelled the distance

Duration: 20 mins

Working on sound as a tool to enhance memory. Ribka will play a soundscape consisting of everyday sounds that come from the streets of Indonesia to more intimate settings. Besides field recordings and samples, musical compositions derived from folk instruments will intertwine within the scape to aid and reinforce potential emotions associated with homesickness. During the playback they invite you to sit and consume the traditional tonic named Jamu.
